Well, good luck to you... If you want to do a proper petition, gather people's emails and send them off to Anet directly. You're wasting your time here.

THIS is for the petition, not for you to copy/paste posts you've already put in other threads.

Whether or not Anet decides to even bother looking at this petition is their own decision, but there's not a chance in hell that we'll get any changes made unless the suggestions are tossed out there and problems are made aware, so that's what we've done in this thread. And based on the...numbers of people who've gone and signed this compared to the number of unsigned, I'm not dissapointed with the outcome by any means.

Yeah, so keep in mind the thread title says "Petition to quit nerfing the hell out of us" not "Thread in which to argue about matters already found in other posts". When someone creates a petition for their city do you see people arguing amongst the signatures? Hell no, I'd rather we kept it more or less the same here. You get the idea.
I'll post here all I want thankyou. I don't agree with the petition so I will have my say. I want the nerfs to remain. So I will have my voice heard. If somone stopped me on the street with a petition and I didn't agree with it, I'd say no and possibly tell them why. So I have the right to do this here too. And just to note, what I have said previosly is not regurgitated nonense as you would have me and others believe. Please don't resort to insults when people don't adhere to your point of view.

I saw a reply here about ruining the economy and hurting the newbies

Heres how i treat it.

I stash my best gold items or purples with good savage items on it,
I then sell everything to the merchant except those low req stuff
and basically give them away in As to the newbies. For instance i got a 14-21 dragon sword req of 4 or 5 a newbie offerme 600g for it i gave it to him for 100g.

I had a Gold 2 handle staff with NO-req for a i dont remember but the guy
who got it for 300g was estatic heck the merchant price was amost 1/2 that
but the item was of low hit value for anyof us but to the newbie that weapon
probably could get them to LA as good as it was.

I'm saying dont be greedy and pass back your handme downs

I mean im as guilty as anyone of expecting a good price for those good Gold items but how much is enough the big guns the other day bid up a shield to about 1.5mill cash and idont know how much in items my head was spinning and (LOL) at the whole tread (if you havent seen it seach on shields and always and have a laught the last bid i saw was 1.489 mill but then i think some one was adding to it item;s and using a spread sheet to figure his value etc. ( only kidding on spread sheet)

Ok Yes i say bring back our farming spots and leave us alone, but pass back some to the newbies even free if they take it.

I guess everyone has figured im any old fart for thinking this way right

well your right, im any old fart

but i still love gaming, from pong to space invaders, to now and this, as a matter of fact this is my first online multi group mod what ever you call it type game.

Hay you young guys have alittle patience out there when we screw up its only a game and help out a newbie once in awhile you remember what it was like not knowing, heck even go out and show off and help them in a quest or mission or 2.

I really injoy this game and would like for it to stay around for awhile so lets make it fun for all. I have chatted with alot of people i have made some real good friendships, as far away as Eng, Hungary and Croatia, and of course here, with the young and old, so if you see me say hi, but remember i have a warped sense of humor so watch out. I am a straight shooter and dont care if i affend you, since i'm an old fart and can get away with it lol. Oh ya i have a gift to gab, my Wife says im worse that a women when it come to talking. My Wife can you believe it, the women i married who has a phone growing from out of her Right ear, ok thats enough back to farming, or whats left of it.

Thats it

IGN Rota Ulave

w/mo20 looking for a Father/Son/Retiree kind of guild ( i have a 27yr old son back in the ranks trying to catch up to the big guy, ha ha. I'm not interested in PVP or what ever that arena stuff is. I just like farming and questing. And of course here great board, lol now im dating myself yes we use to call this a board as in BBS, instead of site.

actually people who are arguing here helps other people to decide whether to sign or not. This is still a friendly arguement showing the pros and cons of farming. I am sure Anet will see somethings here that will help them decide. I bet there are new players here who doesn't know what the nerf is all about, these arguements will inform them about the situation.

either fix this nerfing thing or at least make the merchants buy back items at a higher value. like someone said in this thread that he could sell a gold hammer for 5K but to the merchant, only 128g.

simple logic as i see it: lower drop rate of loots, the higher the price will be in the trading market.

ex: charr hide, (b4) trading market price was 20-40 gold, now 80-100
and i dont think charr hides is available w/ material merchants

agree w/ that. ex: player picks up dye, try to sell it at dye merchant, market price 1 gold. buy a dye from them 200-800 gold. now, is that fair

I've already left GW. I started playing EVE online. I can play any way I want in EVE. I don't have Devs forcing me into one mode of play: which is grinding the storyline.

I'd rather pay $20 per month and have the freedom to play anyway I want than to have a free game and be forced into someone else's vision of how ot have fun.

This is happening for a reason buddy. Char hide is likely dropping less frequently so more people are buying it instead. And, the people that are buying it are the wealthy ones from before the nurfing took place so they can afford to pay the additional price and it continues to go up. Don't worry, they will also be impacted eventually due to sinks.

Anyway, I think its stupid to have to save up a few platinum via farming to buy a dye, or to have to have over 100K to buy a gold item from someone.

The one thing I can see is that the Nurfing is working because all of you are complaining. This can only mean that everyone's bank accounts are being affected and in the long run, this will be better for the game. There won't be such as gap between the average player and the hardcore farmer and in the end, the game WILL revolve around SKILL and not time played.

That is what the creators wanted so if you're not happy, you may have bought the wrong game.

Are you just trolling or are you serious? There is so much wrong with that... especially the dagger of the last sentence that I'll just assume you're trolling.

First of all, I have farmed only once, and that was to see how it was. I can see why people are furious, they get junk. When I did this experimentation, I farmed the crystal desert, for about only an hour. I didn't find anything even purple during that time. What I am complaining about is the fact that I still find it hard to find a single gold item during the course of a normal day of play. This means going through missions and doing quests and the like, not farming. Instead of punishing the bots and farmers, they're ultimately pushing new players down, and rewarding the pvpers that farm the hoh. What they're really doing is discouraging new players. Theres an enormous gap between the rich and poor. Some people boast about how they have 1 million gold, while some people beg for 10. I originally had 43k stored up in storage. I'm down to 10k. This is within the course of a week, with only buying identifying kits, expert salvage kits, and a few skills. No matter how much questing or missions I do, I can't seem to make money. Theres something wrong with this picture.

Well said hands. Suddenly everybody is getting poorer (Which I'm sure is Anets intention) and eventually this will lead to prices dropping.

Well that confirms the hoarders loesing money theory. Farming the HoH? You make it sound easy. We all know it's not. Becasue it's hard to form a group that has to take on the whole damn world and even harder to take on the world.
That's BS boo. If you can't afford ID, Salvage and Expert salavage kits you're spending your money on other things you don't need. Even playing solo you should be able to get plenty of money for these things. In large groups in higher areas it should be no problem at all. You're telling me that in 1 week you spent 33k on Skills, ID and salvage kits?

I don't see how that's possible considering I'm still making about 1 platinum every hour and that's just playing missions. As a player who has a quick game every night I don't think the game was intended to have people auctioning items for 200K, especially considering in game items sold by NPC's, such as armour etc, is no way near that high.

Someone said they bought Black dye and now have nothing, you complained that you're also down to 10K this week, if this continues you will find that buying runes, dye etc will be affordable on the little money you do make. It's a good thing, you're just not seeing the bigger picture. (Once again, I don't know how you have lost money unless you're not picking up or buying more than you have stated).

If the price of items continued to rise and people who spent their whole life farming or using bots continued to have such as big jump in savings compared to the average player, then how could the average player afford to buy a rune, or afford to buy dye or afford the Guild Hall Sigil with the average player Guild mates? If Edge can answer that properly, then he can tell me I'm trolling.

I'm now turning into a WoW addict (just bought it a few days ago) due to the screwjob merchant prices and the nerfed farming across the lands. I'd like to enjoy GW again before it fades away.
